Three Stripes - Adidas

The three stripes come in many different forms, the silhouettes seeming to be endless although all having the same staple look to them. My current favourite being the 'Handball Spezial'. This model is absolutely booming within the sneaker community today, mainly because of its timelessly clean look and Adidas' successful eye. when picking the right colourway.

Collaborations

This year Adidas have been right on the money when it comes to collabs with other brands, it has been SELLOUT season for the vast majority of 24's collaboration attempts. Lets go through some of the best. 

Sporty & Rich Spezial Pack

Spezial x Sporty & Rich - there has been a few of these this year for Adidas but the pack that did the best came in MAY. We seen 3 colours release in this pack; green, pink and the surprise favourite brown. The brown is the only colour out of the three that you can currently make good money on, the autumn vibe providing girls with a need for brown shoes apparently. The pack only came out in women's sizing UK3 - UK9 so the big footed individuals couldn't enjoy these pairs quite as much.

A collab everyone could enjoy coming out of adidas HQ was the Wales Bonnar's. We seen a few Wales Bonnar X Adidas this year but my personal favourite has to be the Samba's. I didn't think I would be a fan of the huge tougne but I think Adidas done really well with making it as subtle as possible - through colour blocking. 

Adidas Fitness

2024 has been the year of fitness, everyone posting their runs on their stories, all the troops getting back into football as-well and adidas made sure to act on this by pumping out state of the art running shoes and bringing back the predator boots. 

Bringing back the predator by releasing many different colourways was exactly what 2024 needed. Something that I didn't really love was the price! £240 for the top of the range pairs, with resellers latching onto nostalgia and charging £300+ for certain models, madness. My favourite out of the recently released predators having to be the black out pair - clean. 

The progression in running shoes has also been accounted for by adidas. They brought out some insane runners, the best being the Adizero Pro 3's. How light these shoes are is crazy, felt like I had a feather in my hand, no clue how they pull it off but well done Adidas! The technology progressions when it comes to running have been quickly adapting, fair play to adidas here for keeping up and then conquering!

So, Adidas are not my favourite brand to produce shoes but as a shoe lover I have to stand and applaud the year they have had, from sell outs working with anyone and everyone to SELLING OUT so many pairs in 2024. It takes a lot but they've grabbed many people's attention, now, will they hold it in 25'?
